This Cayman S has a larger, 3.4-liter engine, which pushed the horsepower up to 295 and increases the torque to 250 pound-feet.
The Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1 has the exact same engine, and thus exact same specifications as the "S" submodel. Porsche has made its five-speed "Tiptronic" automatic transmission optional on all models, which also allows the driver to manually shift gears through a manual-shift mode, if they so desire.
